I hit myself in the face with my guitar.

When I finished practicing the other day, I stood up to put my guitar back in its case. I was distracted as I stood, and lost my grip. Fortunately, I hang out with cats, so I have quick reflexes. I snatched up my guitar by the neck, but a bit too forcefully. Caught the tuning pegs right in the jaw. And woke up with a couple tiny bruises the next day.

Thank the maker it wasn't on stage, and no one saw it. Disaster averted. Lesson learned. Hold on to your precious.
